Question about 1997 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
Any time I turn but especially when i stop the truck entirely, like at a stop sign, then make a turn their is a knockin noise until i get the truck driving straight again. It also happens when i am parked and attempt to pull away from the crub. its much worse when im turning left, the problem seems to get worse after i have been driving rough roads (AKA Dirt) then driving on pavement. i was thinking it might be CV joint or spider gears? any ideas would be a help.
What is happening is your spider gears and side axle gears are probably going out... it might also be the ring and pinion... just happened to my 2000 S10 and turns out spider gears were toasted... have a mechanic check out your differential. you pop the clutch alot?
