you definately should check the oil pressure switch its probobly above or to the side of the oil filter and can make it look as if the filter is leaking,it will be threaded into the engnine itself and will have a connector on the top of it most likely with only 2 wires going to it

Most likely the cause of this problem was replacing spark plugs with engine hot. A tap and die may work, make sure you get the correct size. Do not over tighten. You can enlarge the whole using a tap and die and use a larger spark plug. DO NOT ALLOW METAL SHAVING TO FALL INTO CYLINDER WALLS. Start engine with plug out to blow any missed shaving out of cylinder. If this does not work a helicoil will be the next option.

if it is just when starting and blue smoke it will be valve stem oil seals or possible valve guide wear leave ticking over five mins then rev up if it smokes and clears that will confirm it assume you have checked there is not too much oil in engine

the head gaskets are blown you can believe that anytime on any engine gas or deisel that you get oil in the radiator and there water/ antifreeze in the oil pan the gaskets and or cylinder heads are bad

as shown above, the smoke is coming from the area of the 4th spark plug or manifold area
