SOURCE: 1987 Ford Ranger that sparks but wont' start

try to replace the coil and all the spark plugs also make sure that the plugs are gapped right. that info will be on the evaporation sticker onthe core support in the front of the truck under hood. I think it is 0.004 not 100% sure on that. I hope that helps

SOURCE: 88 Toy, 22R Carb, hard cold start

in your carburetor there is a priming passage. look in there with the air cleaner out and pump the butterfly it should squirt gas. if it doesn't then you need to open the top part of the carb and clean the hole with a hair clip. if this is not the problem it will be the choke but I'm 70 percent that this is the problem.

I have a Nissan Primera SR18. Engine cranks but won't start. I checked the nozzles are okay but they are not receiving command from the computer to pass the fuel into the engine what should I do??

You need a garage with a pro grade scan tool computer to find which module or sensor has failed.

If you have a low grade scanner, you may see a code. There is no easy fix to injector issues.

Have '89 toyota celica ST, 3S FE engine, the primary coil inside the distributor cap exploded, releasing its oil and fried the pickup coil. Replaced with new distributor and throttle position senser....

It sounds like the airflow switch is not closing. Do you have the airflow meter connected? Is the intake pipe fully installed? I just fixed a 91 pickup that had the same problem.

HI I hava a '91 Primera 1.6 throttle body

Try looking at your IAC (idle air control valve) (should be attached to your throttle body), also look at your vaccume hoses and attachments for dry rot, cracks, leaks, look at oxygen sensors (unplug and check if sending power when engine is running (most of the time between 6-12 volts is good, fluctuation in signal is normal) check your MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) to see if the grid inside is dirty, or if the wiring harness is corroded, cracked, pinched, or anything that is prohibiting sending power back to your main computer. there is more in depth things you can check but these are the basics for your type of problem, keep me updated and good luck.

Hope this helps!

Heat on floor but not on defrostgate is not opening for defrost all the way

the doors that change the direction of the airflow are controlled by a vacume hose.. it has either come off or has a leak that is perventing it from opening all the way.. you will need to track down the vacume leak this should fix the problem when you fix the leak.

Fluctuating idile, missing while driving, no code with check light on.

when your at a light and apply the brakes does the running get worse? if so you have a vacum leak. there is a temperature switch should be installed in the intake near where the top hose from the radiator goes in the motor this is like a 15 buck part. this will have 3 to 5 vacum lines to it make sure that these are not cracked or split and are all hooked up. one of these goes to your distributor check this hose.
another place that can cause this is in the air intake system there is a airflow meter this will create these kinds of problems as well. with the car hot and running pulle the hose off of one side of this and see where the butterfly valve is located it should be almost full open if not replace it
