My 2009 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab truck 5.4l v8 is throwing codes P2107 & P2110 3 times in the last 2 months and is currently at the dealer for repairs. The dealer has replaced the intake and the throttle body and sensor on the 1st 2 visits and this time reset the codes and says the truck is running fine without any repairs. They have a flight recorder on it and are driving it trying to get it to code out again so they can capture more information. They admit they do not know what the problem is. Any suggestions for a repair?

hi your problemis your throttle actuator control position sensor its a small piece that goes in the front of the engine cost about 120usd

concern is not the throttle body or tp sensor
coils are causing rf interfernce which causes pcm to get an erratic signal and shut down throttle response
you may also notice a miss/hesitation attimes on hard accel and this is when throttle may shut down?
rec stress test all coils with an oscilliscope-common concern on this vehicle

I own a 2003 ls V8. I had this same problem. Coils bad, oil leaking on them and the spark plugs, car stalling out like crazy. There is a Recall for this exact problem. My car is currently being fixed at my local ford dealer for free. Coils are being replaced, valve covers, spark plugs. Don't let anybody else tell you what the problem is, like the dealership to be specific. My friend and I took apart the engine, it's a jaguar engine btw and its a pain in the ****. anyways, all 8 coils were soaked in oil, all of the spark plugs and a coil was blown. That is why the car stalls. A coil is 100% blown. Find the warranty on the internet, but more importantly just stand firm and tell them you know all about the warranty, which is everything I just told you. You should be golden. I was

SOURCE: How do you get the overhead console off of a 2003

Removal is pretty easy. I have detailed info on my website www.autoclockrepair.com.
You basically need to remove any retaining screws (located in the storage compartment if you have one). From there you simply pull the console down and unplug the unit. I'd be happy to assist, le tme know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
