When I trun on the head light switct the low beam and high beam light do not work.

If I use the flash feature the head lights work. There is no voltage if you unplug the wires at the head lights. Also when I test for voltage at the fuses There is no votage on either side of the fuses.

I checked all the fuses I could find and the bulbs are ok.

Left operating headlight not working

the switch supplies power to the relays that switch on the lights according to the position you have it at
so on high beam there will be 2 high beam lights working
on low beam there will be 2 low beam lights working
back to passing lights or flashing head lights , both beams will work so the switch is the last item to consider
Now with only one side beam not working it comes back to the ground on that light for that bulb
remember that electricity follows the path of least resistance so it the ground is bad the current will ground out through another point including a light which will switch that light off or make it not work
remember the brakes light that flask when an indicator is used --same thing

2006 Chevy HHR low beams do not work in auto or on positions. However, low beams flash when locking/unlocking the car using the remote. Also, high beams, parking lights, and turn signals all work fine. All...

Your running lights which come on when you are in drive should be the ones flashing when you use the key FOB to lock or unlock vehicle not your head lights. Although unusual maybe both low beam head lights are burnt out or a bad ground, that the only thing that makes sense to me.

Is Blue Lite For High Beam Supposed T oStay on when clicked?

To clarify, when you pull the turn signal lever towards you, the high beam lights will come on only as long as you hold the lever up. This is the flash to pass feature.
To switch the headlights from low beam to high beam, you push down on the lever towards the dash. Then the high beam lights and the blue indicator light should stay on.

2002 gmc safari head light won't work on low beam but will work on high beam

First check, is there more than one headlight bulb, if so, the low beam bulb has failed, needs replacing.

If not you'll probably find that the head light bulb has a double filament, low and high beam. The low beam filament has failed. You have to replace the bulb.

HIGH BEAM LIGHT STAYS ON IN DASH ...SWITCH GOES HIGH AND LOW BUT ONLY WORKS ON HIGH (ONE LIGHT) AND NO LIGHTS ON LOW

I have the same problem and I've tried two fixes so far and neither has worked.
- I replaced the daytime running light module and that didn't work
- I replaced the trun signal/hazard/light switch and that didn's work

I've had one comment that it could be a ground issue.
hope this saves you spending money on "fixes" that don't solve the problem

High-low beams not working

Check for headlight relay and fuse. Some cars have separate circuits for head light flasher and normal high/low beam. From your description, I would suspect a bad connection to/from relay or relay itself.

Low beam headlights not working on 2004 Pontiac Montana extended

You headlight lamp have a diffuser mechanism which allows it to flip between the hight beam and low beam feature of the bulb. In fact, you high beam will function even if the low beam is not working.

I would recommend the purchase of the new headlight lamp. It would cost you you any where from $15.00 per unit to get a replacement lamp
