its part of the starter. You replace it as a whole. Once you have it you will know what to look for and then its up to you to access it. If you have a radio that needs a code be prepared to lose it when you disconnect the battery. Then disconnect the wires on the starter,
Double check your battery terminals and cables...make sure they are clean, corrosion-free and snug. If they're dirty or have a layer of corrosion, even a new battery will make your starter click (due to poor voltage to the starter). Get yourself a battery terminal cleaning brush and clean them real good and connect snugly.
I WOULD SAY GET A REPAIR MANUAL TO LOOK AT THE STARTER WIRING DIAGRAM TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE TWO RED WIRES BATTERY POSITIVE CABLE + FUSE LINK WIRE GOES TO SOLENOID POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL POST .THAT THE LARGE STUD WITH A BOLT.THE SMALL PURPLE WIRE GOES TO S OR SWITCH TERMINAL ON THE STARTER SOLENOID.
Pin 20 on the blue pcm connector is the power wire to the pcm it is an orange wire. (hot at all times). The power to the data link connection is the cig fuse in the i/p fuse box.
