We have a 1994 chrysler concorde.ran fine untill my wife set off the manufacter`s alarm system,now it will turn over but wont start even when i shut the alarm off. now like i said it turns over

although you can open the door with a key ,unless the alarm system senses a fob key signal it will assume that the door is being opened illegally and will set of the alarm
keys can be cut for all cars requiring a key fob unit but the alarm is not cancelled and the engine will not start
you may have to get another key fob and have it programmed to the ECM system

I am a strong believer of the KISS therory, so lets start on the most likely. When you replaced the battery, did you also clean the battery cable connections? If not that is the most likely cause! If not, suggest you get jump your car to make sure where the problem is. If it starts with the jump start then it is in the battery system - battery, battery cables, alternator.

Your not going to believe your problem. I think your anti theft is engaged and you bypassed it with the slim jim. Pull the battery from the car for 30 minutes then try it.

Lock and unlock the passager side door with the key this should turn the alarm off.

I CHANGE CAM AND CRANK SENSOR,FUEL PUMP,COMPUTER BRAIN BOX AND COIL PACK STILL GETTING NO FIRE UNLESS I JUMP A FIRE WIRE FROM BATTERY

Do you have the (FOB) for your car. If you do use the unlock and lock buttons several times

the starter it self......if it doesnot crank it is the starter........

the starter probably has one or two chipped teeth..."if you can try going under ur car and remove the starter......

WITH KEY IN DRIVER'S DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK DOOR TWICE. THIS SHOULD OVERRIDE ALARM SYSTEM. STRONGLY SUGGEST BUYING KEYLESS ENTRY FOB.

I work at a car lot and have experienced alot of numerous electrical problems with this group of Chrysler's.(Intepid, 300m, LHS, Concorde) I hate to say but usually a BCM has fixed my problems. Regarding the alarm i would look into the switch on the back side of the lock cylinder it was a very common problem in the mid 90's era Chryslers, but all in all sounds almost like a BCM. (Body Contol Module) New they are salty but call the dealer and give them the last eight of the vin and tell them you need the ID number for the bcm they should give it to you then browse your local junk yards.
