Jaguar x type 2.0 diesel 2004, which fuses are for the front left headlamps and where are they located engine compartment or glove box what amp and what number fuse, outside front headlamp wont come on...

Inside the engine compartment, behind your battery is the fuse box. Open your plastic cover and on the underside you will see the fuse schematic. Look for F16. That is the fuse for your left head lamp. 20 amp yellow fuse.

Directions on replacing a cabin air filter for a 2004 Avalon

The cabin air filter is actually pretty easy to change. Here are the steps:
  1. Set the air conditioning system to Recirculation. The case for the cabin air cannot be removed with the system in the Outside Air mode.
  2. Turn the engine off.
  3. Open the Glove Compartment
  4. unclip the damper rod on the ride side of the glove compartment. To unclip it usually it is just a squeeze tab but sometimes it is a phillips head screwdriver.
  5. The glove compartment now must be squeezed together at the rear to allow the tabs to be released. Just let the glove compartment hang down.
  6. Through the glove compartment opening, locate the filter cover and remove.
  7. Remove dirty filter and replace with the new and reverse steps 1-5 to put it back together.
Shouldnt take to long usually takes me about 5 minutes to change it.

Air filter replacement

Per Hondacarforum.com

"look for your air filter box. its a big square box on the right hand side of the car under the hood. you cant miss it. ther should either be clips or screws holding the box together. you have to get the top off of it to get to the filter... just replace the filter, and put the top back on and ur good"

Reset Radio and setup cell phone capabilities

Your radio has a built in security device which requires a code being entered should the 12 volt power supply become interupted. Normally this specific code is listed in the vehicle handook documentation keep within glove compartment. If not, contact your nearest Jaguar dealer. They have a data base of all Jaguars sold with such info..
