I have offer to bay 316i 1997,but the millage is 330000 km,and I dont know what to do

First of all get a Car Fax report. Www.carfax.com. That will tell you history on car, service records, and see if clean title. Next have local do a mechanic overlook of the car. Check compassion , put on computer etc. Then do a kelly blue book on it to see if value of asking price is what KBB says it is. Thanks mike.

My engine don t start due to gas not going in the throttle,i said this i spray the throttle with gas the engine run,i m thinking the problem either fuse or relay but i don t know where is the exact...

If it's not the fuse or relay, look at the fuel filter.

BMW 316i 1997 Handbrake jumps back down when applied.

the rachet and lock on the handbrake handle itself is faulty and either needs 'loooking' at or replacing. leave the car in gear in addition to the handbrake to make sure ur car doesnt do a runner while u are waiting for repairs.

Hi i have a bmw e36 316i on a 1997 P plate . a red light keeps coming up on dash its a red circle with exclaimtion mark in.could you tell me what it means .i cant find owners hand book. thanks jamie

this is a brake warning light, it may be warning you the pads are worn, to their minimum thickness or some other brake problem, GEt it CHECKED!

Locate ignition module 1990 BMW 316i E

The ignition is controlled by the motronic control unit its mounted on the passenger side of the dash above the glove compartment.

The abs light on the dash board is on, been told it's a wiring fault by the diagnostic tool, what can this be on a bmw 316i compact 1996? thanks.

i dont know about that but if its on that means that you have some senser failing its test maybe wheel speed senser.

1997 bmw 316i compact, thermostat??

it may be possible that your heater core was faulty and some has by passed it. open hood and check for incoming and outgoing heater hoses into firewall(dash of car). it is also possible that the heater core is plugged, try getting your cooling system flushed
