It basically depends up on ,what is your car model and year. But the fluid is located in reservoir. The power steering fluid reservoir is located next to the coolant overflow tank and the windshield washer fluid reservoir. The location of reservoir can be different or some car model ans year.

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 GT 3.5L V6, and I can't find where to put power steering fluid in it. Can anyone share a diagram, please?

Not all power steering systems are hydraulic. I think some G6 models have electronic power steering so no fluid is needed. Referring to the owners manual it appears that only the 3.9L uses a hydraulic system. If there is a reservoir it will either be tucked behind the alternator or mounted on that end of the engine. The top mounted reservoir filler cap is on top of the engine to the left of the oil filler cap.

2000 Buick LeSabre power steering dip stick. Where is it?

The power steering fluid level is indicated by marks on a fluid level indicator. The fluid level indicator is located on the fluid reservoir cap. Inspect the fluid level when the engine compartment is cool. Ensure that the fluid level is at the FULL COLD mark. When the engine compartment is hot, ensure that the fluid level is at the HOT mark.

Located on back side of engine below the alternator

The power steering isn't working. The reservoir was empty and I added power steering fluid and it still very hard to steer

YOU HAVE A RUPTURE PRESSURE LINE IF YOU HAVE NO POWER STEERING FLUID IN THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR.LOCATE LEAK THEN BLEED POWER STEERING SYSTEM BY ADDING POWER STEERING TO RESERVOIR.DONT OVER FILL BY FULL COLD MARK ON POWER STEERING DIP STICK.ADD FLUID TO RESERVOIR WAIT A 2 MINUTES.CHECK FLUID LEVEL AGAIN.WHEN POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING.START ENGINE LET IT RUN FOR 10 SECONDS.THEN TURN OFF ENGINE CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID ADD FLUID IF FLUID LEVEL DROPS. WHEN FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING.SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE FRONT WHEELS.START ENGINE.NOW TURN STEERING WHEEL GENTLY FROM STOP TO STOP MEANING LEFT TO RIGHT DONT HOLD IN POSITION.LET THE STOP TO STOP BE QUICK.CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID AFTER YOU HAVE TURN STEERING WHEEL ABOUT 7 STOP TO STOP.WHEN FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING YOU AT HOT MARK ON DIP STICK BLEEDING PROCESS COMPLETE.TURN OFF ENGINE LOWER VECHICLE BACK TO GROUND WAIT ABOUT 5 MINUTES CHECK YOUR FLUID LEVEL.IF FLUID LOOKS LIKE A TAN COLOR.YOUR POWER STEERING SYSTEM FULL OF AIR.TURN OFF VECHICLE LET VECHICLE SET A LONG WHILE TO AIR BUBBLES SETTLE DOWN LOOK FOR LEAKS AROUND POWER STEERING PUMP FRONT SEAL AND CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND POWER STEERING LINES.

Where is the power steering reservoir located on the 1990 Toyota Carolla?

Make sure that your vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool before you check fluid levels. Power steering fluid and other fluids read at different levels when warm instead of cool. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is located under the hood of your Toyota Corolla on the passenger side next to the engine. The reservoir is connected to the power steering pump. Remove the cap and use the dipstick to check the fluid level. For the most accurate reading, clean off the dipstick with a rag first, then re-insert and remove for the fresh reading. Add automatic transmission fluid or power steering fluid approved for use in Toyota vehicles if the fluid is below the low level mark. Add fluid gradually to keep for over filling the reservoir.
this will help.thanks.
