I understand this fuse, if out, will prevent the transmission from shifting. I need the location of the fuse so I can check it. Fuse 23

chances are its inthe under the hood fuse relay box, not in the passenger compartment fuse panel.

Where are the fuses located on a hyundai xg300?

Passenger compartment fcse box is located under the dash, driver's side near and left of the emergency brake lever/arm

The other fuse/relay box is under the hood near the battery.

First of all, Hyundai did not produce the XG350 until 2002. You wrote 2001 Hyundai XG350L. The engine in the 2001 is 3.0 (XG300). Cant help you.
