When I tried your suggestion (while the alarm was going) and put my key into the driver's side door, locked the door and then unlocked the door, the alarm quit.

Did not find any information a " Valve Alarm "

Fix it back the way it was. Then fix why you disabled it.

close all doors, windows and hood----lock with fob or key--wait 10 minutes--unlock with fob or key-- get in --put key in switch and start within 10 seconds.

I have a 98 durango and when that happened to me the dealer had me put my key in the drivers door and lock and unlock the door 5 times with the key and it reset my alarm. It worked like a charm.

they didnt come with factory remote start. figure out how to go into valet mode and that should at least temporarily solve your problem.

What you can try doing is disconnect the
negative battery cable. Put the key in the ignition and turn on. Reconnect cable and see if alarm is quiet and if egine will start.
