Soft reset is disconnecting the negative cable battery few minutes; if your codes come on again, need some scanner reader codes tool to know what code is stored and diagnostic to solve it.

How do I clear codes on my 2000 Saturn SL2? It gave a code for camshaft sensor but my year and model doesn't have one according to the auto shop and service center he called.
Get OBD II scanner and reset or go to auto zone they do for free.

I have a OBD error code P0110 on a 2000 Saturn SL2
Code 110 is a problem with the intake air temp circuit or sensor. The sensor could be mounted in the air filter box or hose going to the intake.

My engine light is flashing in 1996 saturn sl2
1996 was the first year that all American cars were required by law to have an obd-II connector and computer that helps to diagnose common problems with the engine. Get someone with an OBD-II scanner to read the fault codes and determine which system is out of specifications.

One can have it done for free at autozone or advance auto parts, or you can buy your own scanner for under $100 at Sears or Walmart or a local parts store for automotive.

1993 Saturn sl2 code 26. I changed the EGR solenoid and the canister purge solenoid and I'm still getting a code 26. This only occurs when I'm on highway speeds of 64-70. The service engine light comes on...

Service light comes on in about 30 seconds in a saturn sl2
Go to SaturnFriendsForums.com it's a great site with a WEALTH of info on saturn specific problem solving.

In the mean time have auto zone or other parts place read the codes for the service light,

MOST problems are caused by a bad water temp sensor on the right side of the engine down low ( looking at it from the front of the car ) it's called the ECTS sensor, get a BRASS one from auto zone for $8.00 it will solve a lot of problems that there may not be a code for.

That car will not be OBD 2, they did not start OBD 2 until 95 or 96 The data link connector will be OBD1.

What this code means is the trans is slipping, the most likely cause is internal parts failure or shift solenoid issue for 2nd gear, but based on what I know of this code you will end up getting the trans overhauled.
