Brian you need to have the switch and the vent doors checked on this the door that is in the dash. Needs to open and close like window cranks open one side is for heat and the other is for A/C.It is on a gear like a clock. You cant hear it clicking in the dash when you flip it or like a woodpecker. Let me know if you need anything my website is called collisionrepairadvice.com

2000 pontiac montana blows cold air but does not heat up

Check your flapper doors and blower/ducts for clogs or problems.
Also the cooling system thermostat could be stuck open. Auto heaters have a tiny radiator heater core that uses hot engine coolant to warm the cabin air.
That all has to be working in order to get heat.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Heater blower is on and no heat

you may have a problem with the cooling system-check your coolant level,if it is low top it off with a 50/50 mixture and let it warm up-then check the heat-you may have a leak-if no leak is found you might have a stuck thermostat

Check the thermastat or your cooling fan to make sure all is working good. If your engine cant warm up, you will not produce any heat inside the car

Heater blows cool air instead of warm air

check your coolant level if it is low top it off. if it is full you may need to change your thermostat to get the temp back to normal. for the heat check the heater control valve to make sure it isn't stuck (heater control valve should be located against fire wall connected to heater hose.

2000 Chevy Venture not blowing any heat but engine is overheating. Could it be my water pump?

I would highly suspect the thermostat, cost is about $12 for the part and some anti freeze. Good luck
