Hello Experts! I need help with my 94jeep cherokee 4L inline 4 2 door (not 4x4) Yesterday after starting my truck, the radio, A/C and blinkers wouldn't work. The truck has new starter-battery-all A/C components were installed in May. At a loss. Fuses all good but not sure how to test relays. Any help is appreciated Guys!

To add to Allen Bennetts post from a few days ago,the mid to late 90's model jeep cherokee's had a bunch of electrical problems and jeep had recalls on alot of the things that went on/wrong with them,so i would check with the dealer about it.

Are you sure you checked all the fuses. The power distribution center in the engine compartment contains fuses and relays, also on later models there is a fuse/relay box in the kick panel or instrument panel or in the glove compartment. Check for a bad fuse at these locations first. As for checking the relays, it is hard to find a bad relay without a ohmmeter to check the continuity. Sometimes on my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee if I think a relay is at fault, I look for (2) of the same type of relays in the fuse compartment and switch them to see if it fixes the problem and if it did then you buy the same type and replace it. You might go to your local auto parts store and they may be able to check the relays. If they can not check them you can go to your Jeep Dealer and they will be able to check them.

Just bought 2007 grand Cherokee everything works but radio and although a 4x4 when you get on slippery road the rear wheels spin and it goes side ways

Hello Carl, my name is Andy the best way to start is checking all fuses make sure there is not one missing and that you check the cabin fuse box and the one located under the hood now if all fuses good and no one missing you have a bad radio or bad connection behind the radio and about the 4x4 mean that will pull from 4 wheel if programmed plus traction control is the avoid the tires to spin.........

I now have a suzuki samuri and do not know how to use 4x4 gears

Using the shorter gear leaver in the samurai, the gear choices are arranged in a simple U fashion. They are arranged in sequence. At left top, bottom, right middle and right top you have 2 high(2H), 4 hight (4H), neutral(N) and 4 low (4L).
2H- Engages rear wheel drive only.
4H- Engages all wheels in 4X4 mode.
N- Disengages all wheels (if you gonna tow your vehicle)
4L- Engages all wheels in 4X4 mode with 50% more torque but you cut your top speed by an equal amount.
If you have the OEM gear knob the diagram of the layout of the transfer box should be imprinted. 2 high should be used on dry and mildly wet paved roads. Using 4L or 4H in these conditions may result in damage to your transfer box. You may use 4L or 4H in any other road conditions.
