1994 Escort Station Wagon. Radio stopped working awhile ago. Wiring started burning. Believe it may have burnt & exposed other wiring. Left blinker & brake light no longer work. Have found exposed and burnt wiring all the way to up under steering wheel. Is it self repairable or is it pretty much junked?

Hi, You maybe able to repair some of the wires. But you still need to find why it did that. It would have to be a short some where. You can buy new wiring harnesses from your local auto parts stores.

I wasn't sure what part of the ignition you wanted? Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. The diagram is for ignition switch. The top wires are voltage to ignition switch. The bottom wires are voltage from ignition switch.
Buy your battery there is a master fuse link that burns out to protect the systems. It is a smaller section of wire Lighter gauge that burns and separates. feel for it and look for bubbled wire coating.

Hi, If you think the car is still worthy of redoing the wires, I would say go ahead. But you might have to get a new wiring harness for it. I would have a pro install it. Good luck.
check for fuses under the hood? and I think that the wires are memory illumination power and acc./ ant. probably a momentary hot controlled by the radio itself. used for factory amplifiers and electric antenna. so you should have... the constant hot (memory) only hot when lights are on (ill.) only hot when radio is turned on (amp / ant) and switched. thats why I think there must be a fuse under the hood I'll look for a diagram and post back. what I find
need to have vehicle scanned the code will give u a start point [sensor, module, wiring problem,airbag itself] some auto stores such as auto zone / advanced auto scan for free check ur local area
You did not give enough info. do you want to seel it , fix it or what? You need to say what sounds it makes or give more info about it having any problems before.
