I have a broken side mirror on my 2009 Honda Pilot and need to replace it how do i remore the side mirror? Not the glass the whole thing.

Most likely you will have to replace the whole unit.
if just the glass is broken then you can get a universal mirror glass and stick it on previous glass.

hello, For this replacement it is essential that you have good knowledge and better experience, if you are not sure with the process do not do this by yourself because you can accidentally break parts(clips) and cause more damage.
If you have crack in the mirror housing, there is no way you can fix it without replacing the whole thing. but the if it is only the mirror that is broken you can get only the mirror replaced.

You can usually just replace the mirror, any commercial auto-glass store has the glass you need. sometimes it is necessary to replace the mirror and its backing (a plastic frame which snaps into the adjustable motor) you don't need to replace the whole mirror unless the housing is broken.

remore window trim besides window glass or door panel

may have to remove the whole mirror assembly to access the backside to reach the screws.

There may be a aftermarket incert for themirror but it is orrigionally installed a one complete unit because of the power that runs to it And if you find a aftermarket mirror incert it may be very hard to get it in because of the way the housing is made.
