How to replace low beam headlight 1993 bmw 525i touring wagon

FUSE PANEL LOCATION
The fuse panel is located in the engine compartment. A label on the inside of the cover lists the fuse amperage and circuits protected.

coolant sensor replace it because it could cause more problems with other important sensors andscrew gas milege big time please dont wait get it fixed Coolant sensor u can getit from your parts store its very easy to replace

power distribution box problem ,take ti out look underneath and no doubt the links corroded out ,well for the dipped light anyway the stop light is no doubt the switch faulty so replace the stop light switch .

you got a wiring problem,

twist out. Righty tightey Lefty loosey. Don't touch the replacement filament, the grease on your fingers will cause it to blow.

Test to see if you have voltage at the bulb connector in low beam position. I'd almost bet that if there is no voltage there for the low beams that you have a bad high/low switch.

If you remove the a/c board there is a capacitor that goes out alot it is right infront of the blue plug in box. This cost me .99 and fixed my a/c.

I just replaced the low beam bulb on a 2002 525i. The assembly turns about one quarter of a turn to remove and then the bulb pulls straight out. It is a tight fit and the plugs are longer than you would expect. Remember to wear gloves or to use something to avoid touching the bulb. Anything left on the bulb, even fingerprnts will cause it to burn out prematurely.

Pull your lever back if the high beams work that way you need a new high/low beam switch, if they do not you need to replace headlight bulbs.

Check the wiring in the lights it may be poor construction or mis care that has madr a wire become looseand only rarely turn on
