I have a 19096 Nissan Sentra and the brake and battery light were staying on. I went to Les Schwab and they put in a new battery yesterday and they tested everything and the lights went off and everything was fine. Today I started up my car and the brake and battery light are on again and I don't know why

Mine same mod did the same yesterday , have put a volteage meter accross the alt abd it appeard to be not charging so i guess it has had it , was replaceed 18mts ago, bugger
You could have faulty altenator or short causing the battery to drain. The engine light usually comes on when anything electrical or sensor wise is faulty. Brake light will come on if, low brake fluid, e-brake handle is up.
