Blinkers dont work.Bulbs are good.Flashers work. The car was bought with no cover for fuses.Dont know whats what.,to see if its the fuse.Where is that fuse located, and whats the amps

Pull all the 10 amp fuses 1 by 1 until you find the one that is blown. If the 4 way flashers work (as you say) it is likely the fuse. Otherwise... The selector arm. (The lil handle you push up or down for the blinker) 10 amp fuses

The blinkers and flashers are not working on my 2001 Grand Cherokee. Can you tell me where to locate the relay or switch to replace? Its not the fuse, we checked that first. thank you

when you get in your car and use the car turn signals and it does not work from the inside or out side and your hazard light dont work to then you need to replace the fuse located inside the front hood in a black box or inside the car located under the stering wheel next to the gas and brake pedle on the side. Remove it and check the fuses and flasher relay. The flasher relay in a black square looking fuse that has 3,4, or 5 prongs. That is your problem of why the hazord lights and blinkers are not working, you can go to a part store to find the flasher relay for 9 to 15 dollars max. Napa has more of a selection. PS.... when you find the flasher and its burn out it is no good ; make sure the volts match!!!! If you buy a flasher and it burns out instinly after replaced then wireing is short and go with less volts you hace to ballance things of your car was worked on before, things where changed. Check you lights in front and back brights and dim, brakes and reverse lights. replace bulbs if needed could correct the problem if flasher still doesnt let blinkers or hazord work. If bulbs where replaced and still no blinkers or hazord lights then you need a new or used (another) switch nob. You can go to a local junk yard and take off what you need off the same car you have and pay for it then replace it on your car. Or you can go to amazon ebay or such to find. If you are a WOMEN or OLDLADY or some one not good at removing parts then this is not your job. Find someone who can help, or pay something that could be so easyily done. I hope this solves your question.

1992 jeep cherokee all blinkers stopped working, checked flash unit and I dont think its a bulb becouse they gradually got weaker and more irregular over a period of a week or so.

Don't know if this will help or you may already know.Your car has two flasher units. One for the hazards and the other for the blinkers.Do the hazards work?If so,the flasher unit that is at the top of the fuse block,on the left, may be the problem.Hope this can help you

TURN SIGNAL, BRAKE & HAZARD LIGHTS

No Turn Signal Operation (blinker)The turn signal lights in your car are a basic electrical system that controls the front and rear blinker lights to alert the intended direction of the vehicle. We have listed some of the most common problems and repair troubleshooting tips below:
Troubleshooting Procedure
To start troubleshooting this problem:
  • Turn the key to the on position (do not start engine)
  • Inspect the system fuse located in the fuse panel and replace if needed. If you cannot find the location of the blinker fuse consult your owner's manual or an online repair manual
  • When a blinker flasher fails it can cause blinker lights to say on, not blink, or not go on at all. To test the blinker system flasher, remove the flasher unit and insert a jumper wire between the two terminals. If blinker stays on in both directions without blinking, replace the flasher. If you cannot find the location of the blinker flasher consult your owners manual or an online repair manual.

Blinker stopped working, but the hazard lights still work - I think it's a blown fuse but how and where do I fix the fuse

There is 2 different flashers. One flasher for the turn signals and one flasher for the hazards. If you turn on the turn signals and the turn indicator on the dash lights up but doesn't blink, then most likely it is the turn signal flasher that is bad. Good luck.

Hazards and blinkers not working

There are separate fuses for the turn signals and blinkers, but you should check both of them just to see if they're good.

You may have a burnt out turn signal bulb as well. I know that this sounds like an obvious answer, but a single bulb can sometimes disable the entire system because of the way that some flashers operate.

You could also have a defective turn signal/hazard light flasher. This is located under the dash board on the driver's side between the steering column and the door. You have to remove the sound insulation/kick panel (the cover on the bottom of the dash board) to reach the flasher (it is easy to remove - I don't think you even need tools).

Blinkers stopped working

Your F--150 has 2 flashers, emergency and turn signal. Both are mounted on the fuse block under the dash. The turn signal flasher is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, the emergency flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel. so replace the turn signal flasher should solve the problem. Let me know how it goes.
