Hi
The cigarette lighter fuse located in the (Fascia 1) fuse box, you reach it when you open the driver door, is on the side of the dash board, covered with a plastic cover.
fuse number 42, 20 amp fuse
Good Luck
There are actually FIVE cigarette lighter/ Auxilliary Power Outlets shown in the wiring diagrams for your vehicle. The Instrument Panel [1] Accessory Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter) is protected by the "LTR" Fuse (# 53 - 20 Amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment.
The Instrument Panel [2] Accessory Power Outlet is protected by the "AUX PWR" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash.
The Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet and the (two) Center Console Power Outlets are protected by the "AUX PWR 2" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash. NOTE: If your vehicle is not equipped with the Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet, or the Custom Floor Console (optional), this fuse position will most likely be empty.
Open the passenger door. On the right side of the dash panel there is a plastic panel labeled "FUSES". It pop off and your should find your bad fuse there. On the backside of the panel, there is a schematic showing what fuse goes to where. Good Luck.
From 2000 Buick Regal - Owners Manual, check the position CIGAR LTR, DATA LINK for Cigarette Lighter, Auxiliary / Power Connection (Power Drop), Data Link on the Instrument Panel Fuse Block.
Find your fuse box, read the cover and find the cigarette lighter and match the drawings with the arrangement of the fuses, when you find it, pull it out and check if blown out or open circuit, then replace it with a the same value of amp. ok
look under ur dashs fuse box covers for a white label which should tell u of the locateion of the fr-acc fuse or rr-acc socket fuse location. replace the burnt fuse or fuses.(acc = accessory)
The fuse for the cigarette light is fuse number 15 in the fuse box inside the vehicle. The fuse will be a 20 amp fuse. The fuse panel will be under the dash on the driver side. This will have a cover over it and may take a flashlight to find. Replace the fuse and test to see if its working. If its not check the fuse again. If you find it blown again look for loose change or some conductor stuck in the cigarette lighter. good luck
