The 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.

How do I replace a 2004 Dodge Stratus wiper motor?

Not to hard remove the wiper blades then take off the shield that goes from side to side of the bottom of the front windshield under there you will find the wiper motor just remove and replace it the same way you take it out. Side note make sure you install the wiper arms at the same location you took them off. :-) Good luck

How to take off the rear windsheild wiper on a 94 grand cherokee

You will need a 13-inch wiper blade for the rear window. 1 - When removing the wiper blade lift the wiper arm away from the window. ----- 2 - With one hand holding the wiper arm press the small tab on the underside of the wiper blade where it meets the wiper arm. ----- 3 - Slide the wiper blade off of the arm by pulling the center toward the bottom of the arm.----- 4 - Lightly lay the wiper arm on the window.----- 5 - Prepare your new wiper blade by taking the curved part of the plastic clip and line it up with the curve of your wiper arm. ----- 6 - Lift the wiper arm and press it through the center of the wiper blade up and over the plastic clip. 7 - Pull the wiper blade up until it clicks. Place the arm back on the window.

How do you replace the rear wiper on a 2009 Scion XD?

You can make use of following procedure to replace rear wiper in ur scion xd.
Pull the rear wiper arm away from the rear window in order to access the wiper blade.

  • Locate the hinge where the blade mechanism meets the wiper arm and squeeze the plastic tabs on the blade in order to release it from its locked position on the arm. In some cases, instead of tabs, there is a small button that must be pressed to release the wiper from the arm.
  • Detach the blade from the arm and slide the old blade out. Insert the new blade into the wiper arm and lock the blade in place.
  • Return the wiper arm to its set position. Before driving, wet the window and test the wiper to make sure it is operating properly.

1988 VW GTI 16 valve. How to fix and replace windshield wiper arm(not just blade). It rotates beyond wind shield.

Remove the wiper arm. Switch on the wipers for a 15 seconds or so then switch them off and allow the wiper motor to reach the "Park" position. Re-fit the wiper arm/blade so the blade sits an inch or 2 from the lower edge of the windscreen. Pour some water on the screen or use the screenwashers and try the wipers to see if they still travel beyond the edge of the screen. Small adjustments can be made by lowering the arm towards the bottom edge of the screen by a couple of splines on the shaft. If it still travels beyond the edge of the screen then you may need a replacement linkage as it could be worn. You may be able to buy the linkage only and use your existing motor-I know this is possible with the Sharan but not sure on your model/year.

in the center of the wiper there is a little plastic, black piece. turn the wiper blade so that blade and the wiper arm make a "T". there is a tab on that black plastic piece that you have to push in, and at the same time you have to push the wiper blade down. easy

    2006 Toyota Highlander

just how you remove your front wiper blades, they are the same.

    different clips, different solutions.

if the rod's end is bend as a "u" shape, then press the plastic in the middle of the "u" and pull it downwards towards the back shield.

if the rod's end is just straight, push the clip downwards and this time, pull the wiper blade outwards , away from the back shield.

    tnx 4 using fixya,
