You have a leak in the radiator, water pump, a hose, the heater or a head gasket. Check these and see if there is any water coming out of the exhaust or in the sump.
Take off the radiator cap, fill it right up to the neck, start the engine and warm it up. See if there are any bubbles in the top of the radiator, keep it topped up so there is no room in the top tank.
If there are continuous bubbles then there is a leak in the head gasket.

Hi. I have a 2007 mazda mx5 icon, but the fuel gauge is stuck on empty, with the warning light on. Any ideas? Many thanks, Dominic

the level float could have sunk or fell to the bottom of the tank.it could also be caught on something.the wiring should be checked for powers and grounds for the fuel level sensor and any corrosion at the plug on the tank.

Miata mx5 95 pop up lights not go down

Have it checked out by a professional body shop. If they determine the problem is related to a covered accident, then they can typically get it approved by an insurance adjuster.

2002 mazda miata mx5 has strong gasoline smell in trunk. Had smoke test done at dealership and showed no leaks. Help.

The fill pipe is right back there. Check to see if a hose has been damaged. Check the spout area, is there a overflow pipe or a seam that could be leaking into the trunk?
