I have a 96 plymouth grand voyager 3.3l engine with 206k+ miles. I have a multiple cylinder misfire of #2 & #4, codes P0300, P0302. I just had the o2 sensor replaced and was told antifreeze is leaking into those cylinders can this be fixed? Also both struts housing under the hood is rusting out can this be fixed? I do not have money for a new car.

I suggest you get the car to a good mechanic who knows Lexus cars.

• C1201 = Engine Control System Malfunction (VCS lamp ON-RX3) or ECM/TCM malfunction / 51
• C1441 = ?(Code not listed so please recheck it).
• P0300 = Random/multiple cylinder(s) - misfire detected.
• P0302 = Cylinder 2 - misfire detected.
• P0303 = Cylinder 3 - misfire detected.

The first one is a possible problem with the engine management system, (the car's brain). This could be a cheap or an expensive fix.
The last three are the cylinders not firing properly. It could be a problem with fuel or spark into those cylinders.

Codes p0300 random misfire, p0302-0304 misfire cylinder 2-4. P0133 o2 circuit slow response bank 1 sensor 1. P1176, P1300, P1580, P1543, B0423 r make specific which you didn't say this would cause the problems you are having.

P0300 = Random/multiple cylinder(s) - misfire detected.
P0302 = Cylinder 2 - misfire detected.
P0304 = Cylinder 4 - misfire detected.
P0306 = Cylinder 6 - misfire detected.

A misfire can be caused by a few things. The most common causes are usually spark supply or fuel supply. Get BOTH of these checked.
All the misfires are on the same side of the engine so I would suspect a fuel rail or an injector issue on that side of the engine.

P0300 - Random multiple cylinder misfire
P0301 , 302 and 304 - Cyliners 1, 2 and 4 misfire
P0351 - Ignition coil A primary/secondary circuit malfunction
P0354 - Ignition coil D primary/secondary circuit malfunction

Misfire could be a number of things:
a) spark plugs - change them if used over 15K miles - inspect/regap.
b) spark plug wires - change them if over 15K miles - inspect
c) ECM (electronic control module) - test with HEI (high energy ignition) tester.

The vibrating tells me that the engine is running on less than its normal compliment of cylinders - the shaking is produced by the imbalance caused in the engine by one (or more) cylinder(s)
not firing at all.

The "Check Engine" light probably is coming on due the the misfire condition. Go to Pep Boys or
Advance Auto Pats, where they'll tell you (free) your codes causing the "Check Engine' light to be
lit - the code coming from your truck's computer will probably be one or more of:
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder misfire detected
P0301 - Cylinder 1 misfire detected
P0302 - Cylinder 2 misfire detected
P0303 - Cylinder 3 misfire detected
P0304 - Cylinder 4 misfire detected
P0305 - Cylinder 5 misfire detected
P0306 - Cylinder 6 misfire detected
P0307 - Cylinder 7 misfire detected
P0308 - Cylinder 8 misfire detected
P0313 - Misfire detected with low fuel

Probably bad plug wires. Start there and then disconnect the battery for 5 minutes reconnect and start engine to see which codes have cleared.

I'd have fuel pressure checked, and at the very least, replace fuel filter. Not unusual to get multiple misfire codes due to low fuel pressure, thus starving cylinder(s), and causing the misfire code(s).
