What is the firing order for the 1993 Mitsubishi Mighty Max? and which is the #1 on the cap and which one is the #1 of the sparl plugs?

You should be able to find firing order with web search.

most if not all are useually are 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 this is four cylinder fireing order good luck it will work this is the order in which they should fire

There are 2 3.0L engines used in 1989. One has a flat distributor cap with the plug towers coming out sideways and the other has a conventional cap with the plug towers protruding vertically. Both have a firing order of 1-2-3-4-5-6 (Gee, that's hard one to remember!... LOL ;) ) The ditributor cap should have the cylinder numbers cast into it at each plug tower - most Mitsubishi caps do. The cylinders are numbered 1-3-5 on the right bank and 2-4-6 on the left bank.

Check fusible links under hood, drivers side.
1 at battery, the other set closer to firewall.

ON 4-CYL: 1-3-4-2. ON V-6: NO DIST,: 1-2-3-4-5-6. WITH DISTRIBUTOR: 1-2-3-4-5-6 COUNTERCLOCKWISE

it is fuel injected and the injectors are in a manifold at the inlet manifold
most misfires are injector related ( dirty tips , low fuel pressure or injector wiring harness) get a workshop manual from an auto parts shop
