04 Honda Accord EX : The cruise control master switch clicks off immediately after it is pressed; the air bag light comes on and stays on for several days and then goes off all to start the cycle again; several electrical things don't work such as driver seat motor, front accessory outlet and back interior light. All these things have occured within the last six months; are they related to some electrical problem? Thanks

Your problem is a part called a clock spring located underneath the steering wheel.best to have a shop replace it for you, special wheel puller is required to remove the steering wheel, this part carries wires for all controls and air bag that are control by the steer wheel buttons.

2009 honda accord brake lights not working center brake light does work

First check the brake light fuse. If this is good check the brake switch located just above the brake pedal. When the brake is pressed the switch comes out and causes the brake lights to come on. If this is the problem the cruise control should not work because the cruise system thinks the break is pressed and this is one of the ways to disengage the cruise control.

Sounds like a fuse. Can't tell you which one, but check all of the under dash fuses and the two fuse boxes under the hood, too. Here are the two under hood fuse boxes. https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2000-honda-accord-4dr_exv6-ka-4at/control-unit-engine-room.html?PNC=7 (part 10) https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2000-honda-accord-4dr_exv6-ka-4at/control-unit-cabin.html?PNC=6 (part 5)

Cruise control on steering wheel does not seem to work, the light won't stay on unless I hold it down.

Well there's a cruise control combination switch on
the steering wheel and without checking I'm pretty
sure this is a dealer item. You may want to let
Honda handle this one due to air bag sensors, clock
spring and other components that could be damaged
if you attempt the repair yourself. I have the Haynes
manual and found no procedure for replacing it.

The light is staying on the cruise control. Its staying activated all the time unless I unplug the battery.

If the cruise control functions on the steering wheel are working ok, press the switch (where the light is located) a few times to see if it is stuck in the ON position. If this is the case, and wont return to OFF, replace the switch.

2005 Honda Accord 4cyl cruise control does not work

check all your fuses first then take a look at the brake switch and there is a criuse cancel switch also, i think there may be a problem with the switch, even if the cancel switch was bad i think the power would still stay on but cruise would just stop and power would stay on. check fuses and switches anyway to be sure then take a look at the power switch.

What does the red light on the bord with letters SRS means? It stays on for few seconds after I start the car (Honda accord 1995). Thank you

srs means secondary restraint system. e.g air bags and things like that. when it stays on for a few seconds its because it is doing a systems check. if the light stays on all the time then there is a problem. hope i helped.

SRS light stays on

Check horn relay.

===

Check linkage / cable from throttle plate to a black unit that control the movement while on cruise control.

===

Here's a quick check list for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles

Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats)

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)

Seat covers

Weight on passenger seat
(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)

I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem.

I DO NOT recommend disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s).

Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem.

2002 Honda Accord EX V6 cruise control failure

So after you push the button and then press the set button in the steering wheel it does not get into cruise control ? It sounds like a minor electrical problem. If you have warranty still I think the dealership should fix it for free.

Sorry i have not been able to help you.

Cruse controll

Pull up on the brake pedal. If that does not work check your brake light bulbs (LED brake lights will also keep your cruise control form working). Finally check all of the fuses. This system needs at least 3 different fuses to work properly.

97 honda accord v6 luxury cruise control not working

Yes, it probably is the brake switch. It must be working properly for the cruise control to work. If the part you got did not come from a car with cruise control, it will only have two electrical posts and not the four that you need.
If it is the right part, it must be turned in until the button is pushed completely, but not so far that it begins to actuate the master cylinder. Please report your results.
