I have a 2003 gmc sierra 1st & 2are good but won't kick in 3 &4 checked the solenoids in the ****** still nothing can anyone help

To check the starter: key off, transmission in park or neutral, brake set. Pull off the small wire to starter solenoid. Then use a small jumper wire from battery cable post on the starter to the solenoid terminal (can also use a small screwdriver to bridge those terminals). Starter motor should engage the flywheel and spin the engine. If nothing, starter motor or solenoid is bad. If starter works, check for power on the small solenoid wire, with key held in crank. Wire should have power, if not, check start circuit from ignition switch to solenoid-the neutral safety switch is in that circuit.

no gears indicates that the torque converter clutch servo/solenoid s faulty
probably a disconnected wire from your working with the others

Check that the orange wire in the right side of your steering column is not cut or broken. It has 2 conductors in it. When they short together, it will turn the tow/haul function on or off each time. If they don't touch each other, the tow haul function won't activate.

most 03 sierra's don't have one

Is the EFI spraying gas or dripping gas by anychance. I blowed a o-ring at the base of the injector on mine and did that to me.

If reverse is ok then you have a bad shift solenoid b.There are two solenoids on the back of the valve body that are identical,it will be the one on the pasenger side.GM calls them the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoid but this is deceptive because it takes a combination of them being on or off to achieve every gear.Pull the pan, disconnect solenoids and check resistance across them with a volt meter.I think you are looking for less than 20 ohms but the bad one will be off the chart.Bad transmission controllers are very rare in a GM vehicle.I bet if you have codes pulled you will find a shift solenoid code.Good luck!
