Turn the headloights on and see if the tail lights work, if not check the fuse inside at the left lower dash under the cover, check the fuse marked "tail", the tail lights are working then the problem may be the rheostat switch, make sure it's turned to the brightest setting, if the dash lites still don't work let me know.

Headlights work, taillights work, fuse is ok. In the dash, the turn signals work, but it is not illuminated where you can see the rpm and mph.

Have checked the dash light rheostat knob? It controls the brightness of the dash illumination lights make sure it's turned on.

Yea, we checked the rheostat knob - still nothing...

The next step would be to remove the switch and check to see if 12 volts are supplied to one of the wires, remove the switch with the knob from the dash, check to make sure it's connected, if so use a testlight or voltmeter and check for voltage coming in if there is voltage jumper the two terminals on the connector, the lights should turn on then. If that happens replace the rheostat switch.

Unfortunately I can't be of anymore help with this without actually having the car do do some wire tracing and voltage tests, maybe someone else can post a solution for you.

2002 Isuzu Rodeo...dash lights and running lights will not come on. Fuze is blown and when I replace the fuze, it blows again. Brake lights are fine. Any ideas? Thanks Dennis

92-95 honda civic ex 1.6L vtec won't start! New battery, new main relay. Still no start. As you notice the engine would crank but won't start up. Also the dash lights aren't lighting up either....

Did you get the key switch checked out ? The dash indicator lights have to be on for the engine to start. So you are not getting power to the dash lights, and probably not to the computer or ignition coil either.

2000 Chrysler Town & Country Tail lights and dash lights won't work

If the brake lights and turn signal lights work, then there may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse box.

My turn signal won't lit when activate and my brake light also wont also but is illuminate. The Top Brake light do light up when but only when the lights are turned on manual setting if they are on...

possible multifunction switch gone bad for turn signal problem. do headlihgts come on in a dark setting on automatic or not? if they don't come on when it is dark then most likely bad light sensor in top of dash or maybe unplugged if recent dash work has been done.
