Does the 1991 GMC Sierra 2500 have a starter relay ignition modual

NO VIN told so>?
C2500 or K2500, Sierra is trim.
a PICKUP truck>?
Not a Suburban right?

most cars made have starter relay so the super expensive ignition switch does not burn up ST contacts.
and cars GAS have ignition module, only location changes (if a Distributor it's there) if not Dizzy it's in the ECU or on some cars fire wall to COP coils.
1991 C2500 guess a Pickup is it?
4.3L engine, sorry not doing all 5 engines and diesel
shows distributor and ICM and 1 coil.
and no relay starter see schem.

try here>?

How to replace ignition coil on 1991 GMC Suburban

check out AA1car.com It helped me out a lot and it's free.. An awesome site if you are willing to search a bit. The coil is on top of the distributor cap. remove the top cover then the 4 small bolts holding it on. Unplug it fro the side, 3 wires... then just replace. Make sure to reinstall the ground wire that is located under one corner of the coil and held in place by the mounting bolt.

I have a 1991 GMC suburban, it started fine and

You need to replace the fuel filter every 30000 miles. The gas stations tanks are full of dirt. Also check the flow of the catalitic converter.Put your hand at the tail pipe while someone is pushing the gas petal down. The farther they push the petal the more exhaust should be coming out.
I hope this helps you
