Sounds like a broken brake line. Look for brake fluid around the area of the impact or check the master cylinder for fluid to confirm this.

Can anyone help me please my pride executive has started rolling when I stop, this is really scaring me as have rolled into the road several times

Is it parked or while driving. If driving go get the brakes looked at. If parked then my guess is it's a manual trany and the engine compression is not so good. First if parking down a hill put the car or truck in reverse and point the wheels towards the curb so when it rolls 10 inches it will stop when it hits the curb. And use the brake also. Again if it's not working get it repaired.

How come my 05 Pontiac Montana SV6 keeps rolling back when I am stopped on a hill. When I let go of my brakes my van starts to roll back??

If automatic, you may have transmission problems. Check the fluid level now! Method should be in your Owner's manual.

Car rolls back when you let off the gas

This is not uncommon. Pretty much any vehicle that does not have what is called "Hill Assist" is going to want to roll backwards when on a hill and the brake pedal is released. Millions of vehicles are not designed to remained stopped in place, on a hill, with no brakes applied.

When stopping quick or rolling slow down hill to a stop you can feel a thump when you release the brakes

Have you got any other information about this problem. Have you inspected the brakes? Sometimes, if an axle seal is leaking, the drum will get saturated with axle grease and can cause the shoes to stick and bind until rolling breaks them free. Do you see any signs of leaking on the brake plates?

95 325 is e-brake doesn't fully engage

Adjustment will usually help, but try parking with front pointing down hill next time.(back in, apply E brake .) Emergency brakes usually hold better/well when vehicle front heading down hill. If it doesn't hold with front pointing down, then rear brakes need attention.

Rolls excessively forward when downhill and put in reverse

No, it is not normal. Most people use only one foot when driving, no matter the conditions. However, in this situation I think you may be able to recover this issue by keeping your left foot on the brake, put the car in gear, LIGHTLY apply the gas then slowly remove your foot from the brake. However, I would strongly recommend that you take your vehicle to a shop that can service your transmission and see what they say. It could be just a simple adjustment.
