I got code 171 and 174 in my mercury sable 2001 so my question is what can i do or what can i buy i mean the piece de maf or my fuel filter?

lower intake gasket must be changed check all hoses and vacuum lines around upper intake change fuel filter tune up done regular and why your changing lower intake gasket check fuel injectors or replace them if you can afford to do so about 35 dollars each and clean throttle body and check pvc elbow I did this and my 01 sable runs great again with 218,000 miles DOTC hope this helps someone out there any more problems with the sable I will be checking for more troubleshooting problems I bought this car 9 years ago not a mechanic but fix everything myself.
