1st check the fuse wit a test light to ensure u have power at the fuse
2nd put ur ear to the door and push the botton on the door to lock and unlock your door listen for a hum or close to
if you dont
3rd check your switch
if you do
3rd pull ur door pannel off and use the switch and watch the rod coming off the lock see if is moving sometimes they get stuck
but ill bet ur switch is bad or no power
For your remote you will need to check the battery for corroision.as for the unlock part of the door we need to adress the rotary tumbles (this is discontinued except for sedans).This leave for now the most high failure rate is the driver entrance switchWhen the driver has door open the rest opens. This is most likely what you will be up against there are fuses in the trunk that has to be inspected it is fuse F4
