Clicking noise inside from climate control area 2004 Expedition Just installed a new battery and there is an annoying clicking coming from the climate control area inside the vehicle. It also flashes 3 digit numbers and no climate information is available. This has only begun since we installed the new battery.

I think you should go for manual first after that it would be easy for you to solve your problem. I had visited this site past 2 months before for my vehicle and find it quite helpful may be you will also get something useful here

SOURCE: battery saver relay is on and do not start

One it could be the battery but if your radio and stuff works then it is not the case, the clicking is your starter trying to turn over, so that could be it as well.

2003 Saturn lw300 It makes a clicking noise in the dash behind the climate control.

It is a vent trying to close or open! There is a gear which opens and closes vents, I would say yours is shot! Most all vehics made in the last 10 years are bad about it! Not exactly sure what the part is called but it's a switch that goes to venting! Regards!

Clicking noise right rear by third seat 2004 eddie bauer expedition when rear heat and air on or car on

I had the same problem with 2004 Expedition. Changed the actuator for the blend door. This is the one that determines the air temp (cold ---- hot). Purchased Actuator from Advance Auto Parts and installed. I was able to install this pulling out on panel, but it's tight and you will have limited movement and sight. It started clicking again in about a year. After reading other solutions, I realize my Blend Door may be hanging at times. It currently only clicks on coldest setting. If it's moved off of cold a little the clicking will stop. I have also noticed if the setting is not moved in just the spot and you use other electrical current such as windows or brakes it will click because of voltage change and will need adjusting more. I have to adjust this setting in the front if set on front controls as well as the rear if set for rear control. It works fine on Warm or Hot setting. I plan to check door binding when I have time. Good Luck

Pulled Fuse 30- to stop horrible continuous clicking noise even when heat/ac turned off. Fuse is for:daytime running lamps, remote solenoid, deatc climate controller, manual climate control, manual climate...

i had the same problem with mine only the noise was coming from the rear driver side where the rear ac motor is. the culprit was the motor that opens the baffle regulating the hot and cold air. the teeth on the the motor are plastic and a couple wore off and while trying to open the baffle would make the clicking sound. its a little hairy getting that motor out do to close quarters but a friend helped me and its fixed now. the motor cost me about 75 bucks. good luck hope this helps

Climate control does not work on my Mercedes ML 320 suv

check the following. #1, it could be the flap soliniods. This is located behind the dash on the heater box. This operates the flpas to regulate hot and cold air. The clicking sound could meen that it's trying to operate but can not due to a dying motor. You need to check which one is faulty. from memory there is about 4 or 5. #2. Behind the a/c fan speed control there is small plug. Sometimes this can be left unplugged if someone has worked on the car. e.g installing a new Radio/cd player etc.
good luck.
