1994 Olds Silhouette died. I was idling in park and the engine just quit. Tried to start it and it ran very rough for 1 second and would not start again. Turns over fine. Is it the ignition control module, crankshaft alignment sensor, fuel filter, or fuel pump? AND WHERE IS THE FUEL FILTER, ANYWAY? :0

Go to the engine junction box there you will see a fuel pump relay with a small screw driver take the cap of the relay out and expose the switch when you do this this will now be you fuel pump tool test . Now go along the fuel injector rail and you will see a black screw on type cap and a shrader valve that look like a tire valve this is the fuel pressure test port. to test this you will collapse the relay to the closed position whether key on or off and press the shrader valve gas should shoot out not alot but enough to know that gas is coming out if it dribbles out your pump is weak if it squirt out like a squirt gun your pum p is good and now we must trouble shoot elsewhere. so do this test if the pump is good and it squirt out we will go elsewhere .
