The place to start would be to scan your vehicle's computer network fo fault codes. Until this is done, there is nobody in the world that can do anything more than "GUESS" what could be causing your problems.
Actually, you need a new vacuum solenoid. It costs $200 at a dealership. I could not find one online. Check your lines when replacing it. It is easy to replace. Once you get the part, go underneath and you will have to remove a smaller sized protection plate to access it. Just follow where all the vacuum lines go to.
If the RED 'check" light is flashingin the TOD than it is your speed sensor. You have one forward and on the rear by the universals. As for the rest I am not sure except to say the transmission is shifted electrically and the sensor may be shorting out.
