Could be transmission. Or a plugged catalytic converter, or the rear differential. Does it get worse when warmed up? Is there grinding/unusual noises? Where does the sound come from? Try starting out with the transmission in first and manually shift up the gears as you drive. Does it seem to slip? I assume its an automatic. Depending on your level of experience, they can be complicated to replace yourself.

99 tahoe roar

Have the drive shaft checked for being straight
& have it balanced, after you replace ALL joints,
not just one.

You will need the yellow pages for a driveshaft

Keep fouling out the #6 cylinder plug, and a loss of power in a 99 tahoe.

You need a scanner to look at fuel and spark parameters. Bad coil or injector Take it for a drive while someone scans it

Accelaration loss of power

I'd have a fuel pressure test done to be sure, it isn't fuel related again. Takes 5 or 10 minutes so cost should be minimal. The other thing that comes to mind is a plugged exhaust. (catalytic converter) Quite possible on a 10yr.old vehicle.
