was it running this way before you changed the plugs? just a shot in the dark here possibly a defective spark plug, rare but not impossible. if it was running fine before changing them. Other wise I would take it to autozone and pull codes if it is P0350 #5 misfire we would use the process fuel, fire and compression. is there any engine coolant around any cylinders? Have you checked the coil packs? could be a bad coil pack. if no evidence of fluid around them proceeded to check for spark, fuel then compression. post back results or new post with more deductions. iis it no spark no fuel or bad compression.

cylinder 1 getting too hot causing ceremic crack could have wrong heat range plug in which spark plug too hot.or need replace spark plug wires.one plug wire could be bad best replace all spark plug wires.

I doubt it.
If the engine is cranking, the starter is working.
If the engine will not start, you need to know if you have spark at the plugs, fuel pressure at the injectors, and normal compression.

Yes replace your spark plugs first check your wires aswell

chnage plug wires and check timing !!if tis 99 sounds like you will be needing a timing gear or chain may jumped timing..

if the car stop working while driving usually the timing belt i check this one first see if it jumped or missing teeth

If you have some technical experience changing spark plugs before you can it on these.

procedure:

remove spark plug coil packs on top of valve covers. 8mm socket and ratchet.
twist coil packs and remove from cover/plug. use 6 inch 3/8 extention and 5/8 plug socket and ratchet...remove plugs from tube in valve cover. Use NGK plugs!!!!! or Nipondenso plugs only!!!! Nothing else.... trust me on this one.

However, I think your problem is more than just plugs. you need to explain what sound your are experiencing... please be detailed. when does it happen and how? does it have a check engine light?
does it run rough when you coast only?
