Could be a bad oil pressure sensor on bank one or low oil level ,or incorrect oil and filter.

discuss the problem with a service dealer shop or an accredited service shop that has experience on your make of vehicle
with rocker arm problems , to stop rotation it may be bottoming out on a valve spring and not letting the cam shaft turn .

Took my 07 honda ELement to fix at a dealer . given them the coda P2647 rocker arm actuator bank 1stuck on . there fix vtec switch& oil switch.it was a lot of money and still got the same problem.now...

you don`t say who gave you the code.if you gave them this code not wanting them to check for coeds then you started this problem by not allowing them to check for a code as they would do a more indepth code check then diagnois the problem better.in this case because they did all the work then they would be more inclined to give you a break and correct the problem compared to someone that gives them a code and doesn`t want anythng else done but the code problem putting the owness on the customers request.this is unfortunatly what happens alot because the customer won`t pay to have a job done correctly thinking they will save more money doing it this way.

Check engine light on on 2005 honda accord coupe. 4cylinder. code is p2647 said trouble shooting do all repairs on vehicles but do not know that code.

p2647 is rocker arm actuator A- bank 1 stuck on--- to fix it should be the VTEC oil pressure switch. That switch will be on the cylinder head. Towards the windshield and passenger's side (I think).

Go to www . hondapartsdeals . com {remove the spaces when typing}

Go to parts, enter your car's info. System: Engine Component Vtec Oil control valve. That diagram should help a lot.

Good Luck.
