Question about 2007 Toyota Prius

1 Answer

How can I get my LG env3 VX9200 cell phone to stay connected to my 2007 Prius? It pairs for a second or two and then the phone drops with a message that "the bluetooth address has not been set." In the phone history, I see that the address WAS there, but that security is set to "Always Ask" and it immediately blocks the connection after pairing. Is there a security setting I need to tweak? The car never does tell me that the connection was successful. Note: I had no problem setting up the bluetooth connection with my old Motorola phone. Could this be a compatibility issue?

SOURCE: Toyota Bluetooth

first remove batteries from phone for a minute, so to reset.
Then rmove all pairing from phone and pair it back with car bluetooth, it should work until you reset car stereo or phone.

SOURCE: Bluetooth in Prius 2007 suddenly won't connect to cell phone(s)

unplug the fuse for the navigation/radio for about 10 minutes then plug it back in. that should reset it. before you do that make sure you know the code to activate the radio and how to enter it (if it requires a code).

if you can't locate the fuse just unhook the battery for that length of time.

please take a moment to rate this solution thanks

The airbag light stays on in my 2007 Prius. What can I do.

Have the SRS system scanned to find out what the error is and correct it. It is a stand alone system that does a self check every time the key i turned on. If the system comes back all clear, the light goes off and the system activates. If there is an error, the light stays lit and the system remains disabled.

07 Toyota Prius tire pressure light flashes then stays on can I reset it?

If tires are actually at correct pressure sending units inside tires may need new batteries. Tire shops can deal with this and usually offer to take care of this when you buy tires.

2011 Prius fuse box

The NHW20 Prius' 12v accessory outlets each have their own fuse in the
fuse box under the steering column. (Those fuses are sadly easy to
blow.) You'll either have to lay on the floor on the driver's side
and look up, or use a mirror, to see the fuse box location. You'll
have to pull off the panel door to see the fuses. The fuses are
marked in the diagram on the inside of this fuse box cover panel.

I dont have an owners manual and need to know how to sync my cell phone to the blue tooth

Friend,
First put the Bluetooth on and make it visible if there is a provision. Second, put the bluetooth on in the mobile. Third, on the cell phone search for BT devices. The other Bt should be visible. Select the BT device and from options, pair with it. Fourth, once paired, you are on.

HID HEADLIGHTS

I have an 04 prius that had same problem on passenger side...put in a new Philipps bulb I bought on ebay, still flickered...turned out to be the contacts on the D2R ignitor cable (the cable that plugs into the back of the bulb). They were noticeably burnt/oxidized. I cleaned them up with a small grinding attachment on a dremel tool. Worked like a charm, no more problems.

I have an audi S4 2007 what is my blue tooth pairing code???

When u want to pair your bluetooth phone the first time, you must do this in the first 30 seconds after ingnition. This is the only period your audi bluetooth carkit is in search mode. Follow these steps to make it work:

Put your bluetooth phone in search mode, then start your car. Your phone will now detect something like AUDI UHV-1 or similar. Connect to this device, and enter either code 1234 or else code 0000. Your phone will then connect. Command your phone to keep the Audi device listed as a save connection, which can automatically connect. The next time you enter your car it will connect by itself (after ignition that is).

Bluetooth connection... with no audio. the pair appears easily with the LG Dare phone, with signal strength and battery strength showing on the display, but there is no audio

Though the phone paired, is it compatible?  Some phones will pair but not work.  The salesman should have told you about the website that shows which phones are compatible.  When the button is pressed does the radio go quiet?  Is the radio on?  Do voice commands work for the center stack?  will it ring when someone calls you.  If the phone is good, then try the HFL unit.  WWW.HANDSFREELINK.COM
