The seat and steering wheel are supposed to retract when the convenience feature is enabled.
On my car only the steering wheel retracts while the seat doesn't automatically retract.
This has happened before and the Mercedes tech was able to outsmart the computer to get it to work.
Any suggestions.
Honestly, this is a recurring problem with the c-class. There is a certain range(dependent on how far back a person sets his/her seat), that screws with the computer programming and it loses the synchronization on how far to move it forward/back. The tech most likely already reset the seat parameters to get to work for awhile, but I might be inclined to take it back and let them have another go at it anyway, just to make sure. I don't recall any real repair for this problem, but I do know M-B stopped including this feature for a reason.
