This is normally caused from a couple areas. Number one a partially clogged fuel filter ( replace) sometimes a real bad air filter ( replace) and more often cause from a 02 sensor, which is part of your emissions, and sense there are several, the one to look at is the one following the Cadillac converter.Sometimes on fuel filter issues and also sensors don't always trigger the engine light to come on. Best thing, is if you take it to like auto zone for fast computer check (they normally do for free) or reputable local service shop, they can test your sensors. My guess it is going to be a 02 sensor that is faulty. I hope this helps mike.

I have a 96 k1500 chevy truck and have 4 codes that pop up on the check engine light randomly. Codes are ckp A signal intermitent, cmp out of range, idle contol rpm to high, O2 bank 1 sensor 1 insuficent...

O2 sensor cross talk bank to bank irregular, change 02 sensor(s).

Sounds like Idle air control sensor bad, All of your codes interact, I would start with 02 sensor.

I would locate a Tech II and run a diagnosis, eliminate guess work.

the crank sensor will cause intermitent dieing while driving and a no start,,,common gm issue,a p0355 is for the crsankshaft position sensor performance,,or lack there of performance really, lol replace the crank sensor,,it will not cause a rough running though it will either run or not with a bad sensor, you might have 2 issues but i know the p0355 is a bad crank sensor

Engine stalls out intermitently

First I would replace the fuel filter if it hasn't been changed recently, might check the fuel pump relay, might be going out. Lastly, it might just be the fuel pump going out. I just had to replace mine on a '96 SHO. Hope this helps

Stalling

Look for a possible vacuum leak Use can of carburettor cleaner carefuly sprayed around inlet manifold and around injector seals.Spray with engine running and engine will instantly react to any leak no matter how small.Dont allow fan to blow onto paint as carb cleaner will damage it.
