lost the glove box users guide? read it?
it say there if too cold out use the manual buttons to control the bar.
or it needs service
fuses checked.
scan the PCM for roll bar errors, it is a hydraulic device.

It's not a particularly difficult job. It entails loosening the drop-links/tie bars that connect to the torsion bar - the anti roll bar, then loosening the bolts holding the anti roll bar in place.

Just be aware that the anti roll bar is in effect a 'spring' and is under tension. Loosen the retaining bolts gradually, slowly.

replacing the bushes is straight forward. Once you have removed the anti roll bar just lever the old rubber bushes out with a screwdriver and push the new ones into place .. then reassemble everything.

In the most general of terms you would do the job in a couple of hours

what about the anti roll bar bushes to the sub frame ?? or are you calling it a sway bar??

anti-roll bar bushes, could be the problem get a big screw driver and lever the anti roll bar see if you have movement

sway bar?? could it look like an extension to a british officers swagger stick i wonder,or do you mean the anti roll bar which will connect the lower wishbone on either side of the vehicle

This system is designed to release the roll bar from the actuating rams due to input from the axle(suspension travel) sensors in the rear of your vehicle. More than likely your roll bar system released the bar and it sprung upwards. You have to hold the roll bar switch in the up position until the rams travel up and lock back into the bar. Once they lock back in the system will be operational again.

It is normal for the roll bar to rise when top is down. It seems like the rear valance cover is not secured and the soft op does not understand what position it is in. There is a way to manually close top. it is stated in your owners manual. also I would try to close top with button(assuming your vehicle will start and the battery has good voltage) start car and try to operate top down and try pushing on rear cover also make sure the retractable cover in trunk is extended to compress operation switch

brake calipers could be loose on suspension---lower track control arms---inner bushes lower track control arms---anti roll bar bushes----shock absorber broke inside----top shock absorber mounting loose--- jack it up and put a big bar on it and see what moves
