The battery might not be good but if you can charge it up ( with a battery charger, or have the store do it) and the car starts and runs good, you may have blown the 100 amp altemator fuse. It's behind the engine in the power cable thats going from the alteantor to the battery. It's a big fuse with a black plastic cover and it's hard to get too and hard to deal with if the motor is hot. You can see if it's good if you use a test light at the big wire bolt on the back of the altenator this bolt should be live with battery voltage even with the car shut off if it's not the fuse is blown. Most auto parts stres have the fuse and you can change it with a pry tool ( to open the plastic cover) and a 10MM socket and a ratchet and extension ( to remove the nuts holding the fuse into the holder) The fuse costs more than 5 bucks so test to see if it's bad before you change it. The gauges fuse in the dashboard fuse panel can be blown and the battery light won't come on then you turn the key on but not start it and therefore the altenator does'nt turn on. With the key on all the wires connected to the altenator are live with battery power.
It is possible that there is something draining the battery,it could be a light staying on somewhere, check all the lights even the ones in the trunk, taillights, glove box, anywhere there is a light,or it may be a short circuit somewhere or a bare wire touching something, you can try disconnecting a battery lead for a day or so to see if the battery still goes flat,if it does'nt you will have to try & find the problem that is draining it .....hope this helps......cheers.
If you replaced both the alternator and battery and the car starts, if even only for a day, then it has to be the wiring from the alternator to the battery. Thats the only other thing I can think of. Check that or just replace the line and let me know how it goes.
