You shouldn't have to remove the glass. On most vehicles you can remove the regulator from the bottom of the glass carefully so the glass doesn't drop. Then carefully lower the glass into the door. There are plenty Of YouTube Videos ..even if not for your model vehicle all of the basics are the same.
Not familiar with this particular model, but this could be a sign of the fuel mixture being too rich. Have you checked or changed your air filter recently? A blocked air filter may cause this kind of problem. After that it could be that your valve stem oil seals are leaking which would allow oil into the combustion chamber and then out of the exhaust.
