What the P0522 code means. The oil pressure sensor sends a message to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module), which gets transmitted in the form of a voltage reading. A vehicle will store P0522 when that message tells the PCM that the sensor is indicating too low of an oil pressure value.

Very common problem with GM vehicles. It's usually caused by a bad wheel speed sensor. Get the trouble codes read so you know which wheel is causing the problem. Then do the diagnostic. Getting the trouble code is ALWAYS the first step.

I got code p0685. i dont know what it means exactly

This is an internal PCM failure code . The only test is to clear the code and if it resets to replace the PCM. this is covered by warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles . So if you are under this its a free repair under warranty.

DTC stands for Diagnostic Trouble Code. My question is why did you have the vehicle checked out in the first place? Is the check engine light on? What was the code number and did it start with P0 or P1. If you don't remember then have the code(s) cleared and operate the vehicle until the code(s) reappear. The code or codes can help you to determine where to start looking.

The "generic" description of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0685 is: "ECM power control circuit malfunction."
Yup! this would DEFINATELY keep your engine from starting! It means that the ECM has no power to operate the engine management system. So, now you know the WHAT part of the equation. You must now diagnose, using the correct information for your particular vehicle, to find out the WHY.
