I would think time and money involved to do this I wouldn't be worth doing the money and time might be better spent on repairing airbag system is the compressor ok in the rear ?
Unhook batt or computr for tenmin..see ifit clears..ifnot then ugutta module problm or instrument clustr failn. Scan vehicle w a factory tool fora precise reading
If you have started the Rover previously with no issue thus, would be a bad/dead battery. If the battery checks out as 12V, then you might have bad terminals post connections issues. However, if you have good voltage, good post connection, start switch might be the culprit.
May want to check the universal joint on the drive shaft. If one's bad, I would replace them both but I would have a shop check it out before you have the repairs done but that's what it sounds like you are describing..
