Most plug sizes are either 5/8 or 7/8. Don't over tighten the new one. Snug is good.

First you need to find out if the problem is going to be in the electrical system or the fuel system. To do this you will need to take off the air filter and spray a little starting fluid into the carburetor and see if it will start. If it does, then you will need to see if the fuel is getting to the carburetor. If it is not, you might have a bad fuel line or plugged tank switch. If it does not start then pull the spark plug wire off and crank the engine to see if there is spark to the plug. If you have no spark then you must check the electrical system.

Have you checked the brake switch on the pedal under the dash? Not experienced with your vehicle, but there has to be something to activate the light when you depress the pedal.

Perhaps you could google the instruction book for that model ICE. The manual should have a reset instruction!

This is an OBD 2 code, and they are free on line. I would suggest the following. Get a good lamp or torch. Put the vehicle safely up on axle stands or a vehicle lift. Take each wheel off, one at a time and trace the sensor wire from the pads. Check it is securely fitted in the pad and plug in point. Then trace the wires back past that point. The wiring further back can get worn over time.

Are you sure you put the correct belt back on? It sounds as though the belt is too tight, or the idler pulley is stuck. If you have the correct belt, check the idler pulley and make sure it can move freely.
