Tip & How-To about Mitsubishi Lancer

2006 lancer 2.0: solved Service Engine soon light

I connected the interface off an Autoenginuity scantool to the port under the dash, started and ran the car a couple days with it hooked up (the scantool is software based, and was not connected at that time). Voila! the Check Engine light was off. www.autoenginuity.com

I want to hook my IPod directly to the aux port of my radio and I want it to charge the iPod as well as play the music. Is there a cable that does both music input and power charging? I have a 2001 Tahoe with a Delco Electronics receiver.

You can get a Peripheral PXDX and connect it to you AUX port on the back of you radio. The interface can be tucked behind the dash with the docking cable being the only part hanging out-to connect your ipod to. You can change songs from your radio control head-or steering wheel controls-if your vehicle has them. The docking station charges your Ipod while it's connected. Peripheral has a website you can read about the interfaces. They are available on ebay for under $100. I have the interface in two of my vehicles. The only problem is, you can't see which track is playing on your radio, but you are able to skip through tracks either by Ipod control or radio head.
