Is this a new alarm system? Didn't it come with installation directions? The following site lists the system's wire connections; if you want to hook them up differently, do so at your own risk. Good luck.
Probablt just wiggled loose and then maybe when it did it trashed the wire as well. I had that happen to me once. Next time torque down the plugs and if you have aluminum heads use a good anti seize compound. I've even heard the liquid calcium based stomache items like Milk of Magnesium will work great as an antiseize compound as calcium does not react with thing at high temps.
There is a trick to getting the spark plug wire back together right. The heavy gauge wire goes around the plug. THAT boot needs to be pulled back half a foot or so then you can take the heavy gauge wire and one side is a sharpened poking end that pierces into the sp wire itself. Then pull the boot down back over it... that is ALL that keeps that connection together, That's why manuals are so fussy about how they are removed and reccommend a tool for doing this.
