Tip & How-To about Jeep Grand Cherokee

How to fix power window, mirror or door locks on jeeps

On jeeps there is a common problem with the windows, door locks and power mirrors not working. If one or none of these items work on your jeep here is a good tip and 90 percent of the time this is the fix. On jeeps there is a rubber housing inbetween the drivers side door and the fuse panel with wires in it. If you are having problems with all the windows not working unhook the battery then roll the rubber back and look for a broken wire or wires. If there is a broken wire or wires, and there will be, strip the wires and reconnect them with wire connectors. If it is only happening with one door lock or window there is a rubber housing on each door do the same steps on just that door. This will happen and cause either the widows to not work at all or just roll down and not up.
